Stripe opinion

If this is one of your rides I apologize but I found it on the internet- and I like it! I've got a 2014 so the front is slightly different. But I'm trying to decided between the two or nada or perhaps something else.

I like B better, but I personally would use even wider stripes. Also, it would look good to pin stripe the sides like A. Either way, it will look great!

Combine A and B. Distance between stripes like B, but add the pin striping on the outside of the stripes like A.

I would also make them wider, as Getn Off suggested.

B. Leman's stripes do not look good at all with a big gap in between them.

I personally only like pinstripes on the Super Snake-styled stripe. Just my preference.

If those were my only two choices, I'd choose "B".

I chose a 12" center stripe, bordered with 1/2" pinstripes separated by 1/2":

I actually had a custom vinyl stripe made for mine. It's 15 inches in the center with two half inch accent stripes on either side. I think it's the best stripe you can do. The normal 12 inch super snakes don't fully clear the third brake light. The 15 inch does and it makes the car look much wider and meaner imo.

Very nicely done on your customization, relatively subtle and not over the top.

Until I read this thread, I would have chosen B. After I saw the pics from Missouri Hoss and Capn__Morgan I now really want to get the single wide center stripe with 1/2" on both sides. Now to decide if I want 15" or 12".

Missouri Hoss....Ooh Rah!

Capn__Morgan...can you post a picture of the rear so I can see what you are talking about related to the rear third brake lights?

I like that. I think its what I've been looking for. Did you get a local shop to make those stripes or did you have some custom shop on the internet do it?

Actually. I risked it for the biscuit. Did a "shop" on ebay. Haha. Paid less than a hundred bucks for it custom cut and shipped. Still holding strong 7 months later.

That red stripe looks great on black! I'm leaning this direction myself after seeing these. Not red but matte black on my sterling gray.

Same here. I'm either going to do matte black on Sterling Gray or blue on Sterling Gray.

I've got the FP8 appearance package so black spoiler, insets on rims, and mirror caps. So black for me. Otherwise the right shade of blue could look really nice.

I had been thinking I wanted a dark gray stripe on my black stang. After seeing KPD3014's Black with Red stripes, I am thinking about red now.

KPD3014...Your red on black looks really good!!!
