Change LEDs A/C knobs/cluster

Anyone ever change the LEDs behind the A/C knobs and behind the intrument cluster? The 99-04 all have that green tint to them, I want them all red. Any ideas?

Yes, but I'm pretty sure the 99-04s have a green tint on them with white bulbs. You'd need to remove the guage face and use acetone to remove the green of the back. Them purchase some red LEDs from super bright LEDs or whenever you want. I believe they are T194, but it's been forever and I have poor memory.

Instead of using acetone, 1000 grit wetsand and scratchx polish to remove the green tint from the back of the gauges. Then use lighting gel in the colour you want. Then you can do custom stuff too (like make your redline numbers red, rest of them blue).
