matte black?

Ive got some body work that needs done due to hail damage. Im not a big black fan due to all the imperfections that show up. So I was thinking bout repainting after I due the body work to a matte black or flat black. What do u guys and ladies think?

It looks cool when it's fresh. It over time it'll fade faster than a gloss paint job.
