Unhappy stripes on a black car

So, I am in a bit of a dilemma. A while ago, I ordered the matte black gt500 style racing stripes for my mustang, but they are hardly noticeable due to the fact that my car is black. American muscle doesn't seem to have any other dark color other then matte black, but I always see cars with charcoal racing stripes. Does anyone know a good place that sells charcoal racing stripes? And kind of stripes would look good on my car? Thanks a bunch guys.

go to your local decal/sign shop. They can show you samples. Just make sure they use material rated for at least 5+ years. I personally went with the 8+ year grade since i live in the heat and it messes up material faster.

I actually really like matte black stripes on a black Mustang. Really stealthy looking! Not trying to change your opinion but hey!

I like the matte black.
I've seen black cars with dark purple stripes that looked good...

stick with the matte black! they look great on the black mustangs! but if your heart is set on something different look into also getting them painted(if your planning on leaving them on). painted they last longer and theres no need to worry about changing them every 5-8 years. IMO. Mine are painted and I have a clear coat over them plus the 3m clear bra, and it looks awesome.

Painted would also give you more color options to choose from.

+3. I met a guy at a car meet with the matte black on black and it looked slick. Not quite as eye-grabbing as red or blue stripes, but it looked really mean.

I am thinking about silver racing stripes to match the rims on my black mustang.
