Why does American Muscle not offer Comp. Orange pre painted parts?

Ive been looking at the pre-painted quarter window louvers on American Muscle for my 2004 Comp Orange GT. However when I am scrolling through the 99-04 paints, comp orange, or any orange does not show up.

Is there anywhere I can go to buy comp orange paint? Should i go to my local auto body place and ask them to get me a gallon of paint?

It could be because the demand for comp orange painted parts is low. I know they used to do that for some other colors because of that. As for where to buy comp orange paint, i do not know unfortunately. An autobody place would probably be able to help you out

It's not a really popular color. Remember that they have to keep all those paints on hand, it would take them forevvvverrrrr to go through the paint. Notice it's all really common colors they have...

I pretty much accepted that I won't find any pre painted parts with Dark Highland Green anywhere.

At this time we don't pre paint in Comp Orange because the color just wasn't very common. However, I think we should have a color option for everyone! I'm going to get this suggestion over to my paint booth and I'll definitely be in touch with you. I can't promise we'll start spraying this color but I'll definitely go to bat for you!

In all honesty you could probably have a local place spray whatever you need for near the same price as you'd pay for the part plus paint from AM. Just ask around. I love Comp Orange myself. Would love to get a GT or a Mach in that color and swap in a 94-98 black interior. Would look sick.
