The LineX has held up pretty good. The only issue I have had in a year of it being applied is the lower side skirt molding spray was connected to the body coat. When I lifted the car one time and the jack pressed the molding in it pulled it away from the car and caused a tear up onto the body coating. Ideally every seam should be seperated. Otherwise it is solid. I even poured a bucket of rocks on it as a spoof video and no harm done

BTW, LineX cost me $2700 but he said he would not do it again at that price. $3500 would be the ongoing rate they would offer. One LineX shop didn't even want to mess with it and said if he did it would be $7k!

So I had my GT painted totally in Rhino Liner..

You do realize that you're talking to yourself on a thread that is over a year old, to a guy that doesn't even get on here anymore?

Well, this is the official Rhino Liner Mustang thread.

The last I heard, they ended up turning Jgill's car inside out, and it is presently riding around in the back of a pickup truck as, you guessed it... A BED LINER!

So what was behind your decision to do this to your car Landtosea?
I can't imagine anyone doing this on top of good paint...

If I ever build a rally car or off-roading truck I will do this to it.

Had some damage and the insurance payout about paid for the LineX. I have always wanted to do it to a truck but no longer have one. I drive 100 miles round trip per day and was sick of fighting the chips etc in the fairly lame OEM paint.

I'm going to be honest, not really digging it but maybe I need to see it in person to really judge it.

Ya, not everyone will like everything but I have yet for anyone to say they don't like it in person. At worst someone says "It is different" which I guess can be a nice way of saying it is not for them. Based on the attention and compliments it gets along with people trying to drive up next to me and take pics or video on the road I say the majority disagree.

I'm not saying it's ugly, and it might actually look really good in person. Got any vids of it online?

EDIT: looks like you posted one above, can't watch YouTube at work but I'll check it out later!

I just noticed you're not the thread starter, it was the new edge in the OP that I thought it looked kind of weird on somehow. It works better on yours. That's actually not bad at all.
