How to clean brake dust

Hey guys I had a brake pad break( meat came off) on me and the dust Came all over the side of the car. It stated like that for a week because we got snowed in for a week here in nj. Now I took it to a hand car wash and it dosent come off. Car wash recommends compound and buffer? What can I do?? Ceramic brakes and black stang. Thanks
