How much compound/polish?

I'm trying to remove swirl marks using meguiars compound and polish but it isn't doing the trick.

I'm using the DA end they sell for motorized screwdriver applications.

Any opinions?

A proper dual action random orbital and wool pad. Medium speed. Moderate pressure. Grid pattern ( left right , up down). 5-10 passes.

The. Use black ( soft) pad with fine machine polish. ,

Grid pattern would be the movement of the orbital correct?

Yes. Go left to right, top to bottom, then up and down, left to right. . Let us know how it works.
