Car ID Dash Kit review/question for Florida owners

I have looked at getting my interior done with vinyl and two places have said they won't do it because it will go to hell quickly with the heat inside cars down here. Said it will basically melt and peel.

I am looking at a Carbon Fiber or brushed aluminum that is real with but would the same happen to the 3M tape?

On that same note any positive or negative feedback on CARiD.com - Car Accessories & Parts kits would be appreciated. I am looking at the real carbon fiber or real brushed aluminum kits.
