Sirus Antenna Removal

All right I hate the Sirus antenna on the trunk. Has anybody removed it found a plug and covered the hole? If so can you post a picture. I never plan on using the service.

Thanks Mike

Do you plan to trade the car in or sell it off in the future? Removing it might hurt its resale value to a future buyer that would want the feature.

To me, a plug would be no different than the hump antenna that's there now. I'm with you on it's uglyness though; I wish there was a way the factory could have placed it underneath somehow.

Nope no plan to get rid of it. I have a 1968 also that I have had for many years. The only way these cars leave me is when I die and they get auctioned off.

As for the plug being just as ugly, I have toyed with a little filler and leveling it then a shot of paint for a clean removal. I was hoping somebody else had done it so I can see if I like it or not. Heck I might even get a new lid for the trunk and have it painted.
