Exclamation HELP! 2010 GT500 Hood Salvage - Is this one worth it?

So I just found this hood for sale for $100 somewhat close to me. It doesn't look to be in terrible shape, just freakin dirty. However, I am no expert on paint or body work. Is this hood worth salvaging?

Anyone?

I figure paint will be around $300 - $400? I'm really unsure about the repair cost for that dent though. I would really appreciate some input if at all possible.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah I mean the other part is finding one of these is hard since no one will ship it. Going rate on ebay (which I've been looking at for the past 6 months or so) seems to be $600 for one in pristine condition. Of course those ones are also a different color.

Also, I don't HAVE to get it all fixed now, but for $100 I'm thinking about just having it and getting it done later.

^ you answered your own question lol
100 bucks isn't much money.. the hood will cost a few hundred to be painted I am sure so you would be in about 500 for a freshly painted gt500 hood.

if that's worth it then go for it.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too.

You're right I did talk myself into lol and right after that post I sent an e-mail to the seller. Only problem I have, if I get it, is a vehicle to haul it. I might need to call in a favor from a friend lol.

Yeah, for $100 I'm gonna if he still has it.

Probably the cheapest I'm ever gonna find. The dent looks pretty minor. If after all is said and done and I've spent somwhere around $600 I'll be happy.

Picking it up tomorrow!

I'm going to grab it with a buddy of mine, we need to stop over at a shop where his car is getting some body work done first. While I'm there I'll ask the guy to give me a quote on the hood too just to get an idea.

Now all I need is the spoiler...
