A total of 6 hours of hand painting, it was well worth it if I should say so myself. The engine bay is no longer bland and tasteless. I suggest this to all of you. Very inexpensive nut very labor intensive! Lemme know what you guys think of the new look!

Wow. Looks really good. But looks like a lot of tedious work. Maybe a weekend job with a couple of six packs within arms reach for patience.

Looks good! Only thing I might have done differently is painted the alternator and A/C silver.

It was dupli color caliper paint. The engine temp is unchanged pretty much. I never really checked it lol.

I cleaned the engine and parts as best I could, then I used a degreaser that came with the dupli color caliper paint kit I was using the paint from. Then taping here and there and finally painting. I did 2 coats on all 3 pieces

Nice! Did you make sure and unplug the neg on the battery before messing with anything? Especially alternator. Had a buddy weld a wrench to his alternator. Gave him a good zap too. Funny as hell when you're not exactly sober

No I've never done that before lol with anything in my car. Ive installed 2 stereos in it and speakers, messed with the engine and installed intakes, and painted it, never got zapped yet. So far ive been lucky haha

My current engine bay. Now heavily considering painting to match the CAI.
