Painting engine-need help!

I'm going to paint my engine block myself with spraycans but I need to know good namebrands, types of paint and just things I will need in general. Will post pics when I'm done

Rust-oleum engine enamel. Use a good degreaser to clean the block or it will peel. Here is some before and after pictures of the motor from my old trans am.

Thanks man. That motor looks clean btw. And do I need to use 1200 degree paint?

The paint I used was only up to 500 degrees if I remember correctly. The 1200 degree is probably for headers. Although I'm sure it wouldn't hurt. I painted my motor year 2 of the 7 years I had the car and when I sold, it still looked as good as the day I painted it.
