Plasti dip dash/ remove airbag cover dash panel

So I recently plasti dipped my interior! But... I'm not sure how to remove the dash. I know the gauge side pops out, and the center unbolts, but how do I get the air bag cover off? Like the part that is directly in front of the passenger seat and above the dash. If u can! Let me know! Sure would love to know before I spray in the inside of my car. Haha id rather take it out and spray it forsure. Click image for larger version

There are two bolts holding it on the bottom. You access them by opening your glovebox, then pressing in on the sides so that the glovebox will open even further. I would highly suggest disconnecting your battery or pulling the airbag fuse before messing around with this though so that the airbag doesn't go off in your face.

Sent from the future.

Ahh that'd b fun! Haha no I'm jk. But I tried to get the 2 bolts, and it's like the sockets can't get to them... Any suggestions?

That's odd. I didn't have any issues with a regular 1/4" drive socket and a short extension.
