Where to Buy Paint

Thinking about painting my car and wanted to know a good place to buy paint. I was looking for the Dark Shadow Gray on the 04 Mustangs. I think the Ford Paint code was M7039 or CX in the VIN.

This color looks AMAZING! And if anyone has any good resources they would recommend (DIYs, How-TOs, literature, etc.) on acutally painting a car that would be great, thanks.

I would also like to learn how to paint. I've looked into this plastidip and have done a few small things like door handles and spoiler but I ultimately want to be able to paint so I don't have to worry about peeling or a matte look

Learn Auto Body and Paint Yourself might be a good start to learn, past that YouTube videos and articles. Really, the best way is to get the basic equipment, grab some junk parts from a scrapyard and practice. Don't let your Mustang be your guinea pig

Just keep in mind, auto painting is a bit of an art form. It's an entirely different beast then spraying some plastidip or using other rattle can products. Things like weather and WHERE you paint are crucial. For example, if you're outside and it's windy? Overspray city and you'll likely get debris in your fresh paint which will be ungodly to remove.

Automotive Paint, Auto Paint, Car Paint, Autobody Supplies is what we used at my brother's shop for our paint supplier.
