Shelby Matte Black Stripes - White Streaks

My Shelby's Matte Black stripes are showing white streaky marks on the ends of the decals. They seem to go away after I wash and apply a vinyl protectant but come back after a couple days after sitting in my garage. In fact I'm seeing the same white streaks on the plastic part of my heat vent.

So far the only remedy has been to douse it with vinyl protectant spray as it temporarily restores that nice matte black finish but never lasts.

Any suggestions on how to permanently fix the stripes?

Did you put any synthetic wax on either of those areas? If so, it's probably discolored it.

I didn't use any synthetic wax on the area but last night I tried a nano sealant on the stripes and that seemed to do the trick. It completely restored the area I did it on back to it's normal color.

Thank you. I just ordered this product. Have you tried this product and if so what do you think of it?

Give it a few days, sun, rain and washing before you get too excited. Hopefully they don't come back.

Yes. I really like it. Works great on the vinyl (although mine is new, so hasn't aged yet), tires (cleans them without that wet oily look), and any plastic black trim on the car. Really cleans everything up.
