Brembo brake caliper covers

Hey guys. I got a 2013 5.0 with the brembo brake package, but I was thinking about changing the color of the cover. Should I buy a cheap plastic cover to put over the old one or paint over it? I was thinking either red or green

The brembo package doesn't have covers. What you are looking at is the actual caliper. If you want to change the color then painting them is the only way to go. You could take them apart and have them powder coated, but that's a good deal of work.

Darn. There's no way to put a cover over it? I rather not paint it because then the brembo logo would be gone plus it would cost a lot mpre

Putting a fake plastic caliper cover over an actual Brembo brake caliper is borderline sacrilegious lol. The Brembo logo is easily replaced. I'll make it easy for you.

Caliper Paint
(comes in just about any color)
+
Brembo Decal
+
High temp Clear Coat
=
Brand new caliper.

If you can drive a car you can paint a caliper. Total cost will be under $100 for both calipers.

I agree with BadCon. Keep 'em clean and let others drool over them as a big brake package is an expensive upgrade. I'd sure like to have 'em!

Ok cool. Now I've never removed the brakes before, should I get a pro in there or can it be easily done?

Its not hard. If you are too scared to remove the caliper, G2 Caliper paint can be applied whilst everything is still bolted to the car. Just mask off the rotor, hub, and the surrounding area and use a brush to apply the paint. There are several Youtube videos detailing the process.
