Plasti-Dip on Interior Parts / Door Panels?

Hey guys,

Anyone have experience using Plastidip on interior parts? I'm interested in matching inset panels on door panels to the car colour.

Does it come off of vinyl as easily as it comes off exterior panels? Hoping its something that would allow for some experimentation, but wondering if anyone has had success with it already.

Thanks!

I would say get an old door panel from a salvage yard and give it a go

Plasti dip works on anything basically. Take the parts out or do a great job of taping and covering up and spray them. Just be careful if its a part that could get rubbed on a lot because it could rub the dip off.

I'm sure it works, however I don't know how long it will last on interior panels. Especially panels you frequently touch/rub up against. Like the windows switches, console, shifter, etc.

I have used dip for trim pieces (never in my gt, just got it) and it has always turned out good and lasted a good while like they have been saying is true if it is a piece that it touched alot it will rub off or just discolor over time but great thing about dip is that its cheap and easy. also go to dipyourcar.com and they have alot of info on the product and many how-tos
