CDC Grille with LED's

Just trying to get everyone's opinion.
Planning on getting the CDC Grille delete and then putting LED's (not sure what color yet) inside to make it glow from the inside out around the inner edge of the grille.
I have a white 2014 GT. Think it will look good or no?
Thanks.
This is a link to the grille if you dont know what it is.

I think that grill looks nice as it is. If you can hide the LEDs and they arent showing a lot of wire it may look decent.

I agree with RaceRed, it could look decent if not much or none of the wiring can be visible. And also it would really depend on the color.

I think it would look pretty nice as long as they aren't glowing out of it to much

I think it can look really good if done right. I have that grille and love the look. I have thought about doing LEDs in there and in the lower grille area as well(I have the lower grille delete), I just haven't gotten around to it yet. I would just make sure you can't see the strips from any angle.

I think the key would be making the leds hidden so it has a glow effect opposed to making it look like you have Christmas lights strung in your grill.

There's a pic on page 6 I think and it looks sick! I just wouldn't get a CDC grill because of city driving. My hood has a few chips. Wouldn't want that being my radiator!

theres a fix for that

you could probably do it cheaper if you can find the hex mesh like at home depot or something.

Racered I daily drive mine that was the reason I wasn't 100% decided on it. I didn't want rocks hitting the radiator or a bird going in lol. But then like deadpandan mentioned the mesh. I saw someone mentioned they were going to buy a mesh from home depot, to protect radiator etc. I was like why didn't I think that. Then I saw that website deadpandan provided, only doubt is that it says it's custom made for the GT500 wonder if it would fit on a 6?
Btw what pic? On pg 6 its just the grille on top of the hood

You need to know the rules, to break the rules

I have this grille. think it could look good. Just be careful with the brighter colors. The radiator gets a few dings over the year I have had it (nothing major) and catches bugs so if you go with a bright one would think accentuate the flaws. Keep in mind you should probably touch up the radiator with flat black about once every 3-4 months
