Striping!

I want to get some black stripes with red pinstripes but I don't know what sizes I should get or the spacing I should do. Also I want to do matte black stripes but I might do glossy if I get convinced otherwise. I like the set up on this car I'd just want the red pinstripes instead. Click image for larger version

Vinyl or paint? Self done, or by professional? A pro will have advice on size and spacing. I had mine painted on and got blood red pin stripes on outside of my outer gun metal fat stripe. No space. If vinyl, I'd put 1/8 inch between them to avoid overlapping. From a distance, you can't tell, and from close it looks good

I'm getting mine done right now. I also ordered my strips from bigworm. But I would suggest you find a local shop that does great work and get it done there as well as get the strips from them. A lot of places wanted to charge me more because I had my own strips and they also claim they will have issues installing them because they have the cover film on them. When you get theirs they create them on the spot without the cover film and it makes it easier for them to work with. But in my case I think a lot of the shops were also lazy and were so used to using their own material they don't feel comfortable using anything else. I kept getting comments like if they mess up they'll have to order a new kit and all that crap. But if I went with them they would just create a new piece on there spot.

Yeah mine just got done and it looks great. Only one part got jacked up and it was because of that stupid cover film. If I ever get this done to another car it will all be done in-house at the shop I went to. No more ordering vinyl.

I probably will after I get my car repainted due to bubbling. Good thing it's covered.
