MMD Retro style mirrors installed

I picked up a pair of these on eBay as they were pre painted the right color and were pretty cheap. One mirror was "detached" from the base apparently these are simply glued on. So I got them in the mail yesterday. I was a little sad because the one mirror that was detached was thrown in a bag with the base so it was able to flop around and cause a few little scratches but I can live with it I suppose. Still a good deal. So I used some epoxy and fixed the mirror and got them mounted today. I really like the styling. It's different. I once had a 69 mustang with the Mach 1 mirrors and these remind me of those. What do you guys think?

I had those on my 09....got a lot of compliments on them, thought they fit the car very well. I actually broke one myself, just like you described...cleaned up the parts, used some Gorilla glue and all was good !!! Good choice on the mirrors !!
