GT500 Mud Guards

Any opinions on the GT500 mud guards as far as appearance goes? I was kicking around the idea of putting them on my car, but don't want them to look gaudy or out of place. I haven't had a problem with stone chips yet, the bottom of my car is the black plastic. Just thought it might help to keep stuff from splashing on the rear quarters. These are pretty small, some of the others are pretty big.

They look like they belong there. I just installed mine a few weeks ago and think they look great. I see a ton of Mustangs with them too and they always look good.

My ‘14 came from the factory with the mud guards. They work better than I initially thought they would, even with running 285 wide tires. My vote is to get yourself a pair.

^same here. I also put a set of the front splash guards on mine they are pricey but I love them. You can barely see them.

What did you put on the front since there are no GT500 front guards? Do you have a better picture of the front ones? It's really hard to see in the pictures.

Do those front guards make a big difference? The sides of my car are all kinds of dirty when it rains.

It's funny, I was looking at my car last week right before I washed it and you can see where the splash guards kept a very good amount of crap off the paint as it was very noticeably clean from the splash guards back and angling up from them. In a true rain situation they don't keep all road grime off as I believe the rest of the world is throwing crap up on my car from the cars in front and around me but it does make a difference.

They are mainly to keep the quick gutter puddles from ruining a clean car and keeping the rockers and lower fender/ door from getting chips. I was already starting to see the effects of small road Debris marks and I only have 11k on the car so I wanted to keep that from getting worse. So far I am happy with them.
