California special wing question

I received the c/s spoiler yesterday in the afternoon and it looked all good when I checked. So today I decided to install it and in one of the towers, it looks over sprayed? It also has some paint blistering on the bottom on the spoiler. On the top there's just like one or two barely noticeable if looked really closed. Anyone with the c/s spoiler had this kind of issues? I ordered it painted from AM to avoid having someone else paint it and have this kind of issues, I guess I still got it. I feel so picky, I wanted it looked perfect.

The overspray, if underneath, I wouldn't worry about. The blistering, again underneath I would personally try to ignore. If it is obvious, I'd call them and get a different one.

I would be getting a replacement. You payed for it and it should be rite. It's not like you paid a friend who sprays in a cheap garage 20$ to spray a part for you. You paid "professionals" to do this for you.

If am takes such pride in there paint work as they advertise online than they will replace this for you as would any good body shop.

Poor quality control imo

I'd call them up and express your concerns. They will send you another in sure. I wouldn't accept that. You can also pm Alex and link the thread so he can see pictures. Give him your order number. I would imagine they would have a new one in the mail before you can shed a tear over it 👍🏻

My performance white CS spoiler from AM was perfect. I just installed my CS spoiler yesterday and the fit and finish is top knotch. OP, Sorry you got a messed up piece but AM will make it right. They will send you a new one right out and then you will just mail back the faulty one with a shipping label AM supplies you with.

Have a great day!

I already installed it, don't really know if they would accept the return tho. I went with the black spoiler so I can definitely tell the imperfections

I would think that if the imperfections were there then AM would take it back. My white looked good to go even on the underside

Have a great day!

Shipping can be quite expensive, I remember one forum member got his cs wing from another site and i went for it. Got it and had ALOT more imperfections, decided to sent it back and get my refund but had to pay to sent it over there. Costed me 70 something, so I just decided to go with AM to not have any issues. Then again I got it from them and still got the paint issues with them.
