Having rear decklid painted

I have a performance white 2010 V6. Last week I slapped the magnetic rear decklid panel from AM on it, and I love the way it looks. Now I want to make it permanent. I thought of using vinyl, instead, but reading the forums, painting seems to be the way to go.

Has anyone done this? Any idea which black to use, and if something else needs to be taken into account? I'm going to have it painted in a local shop, if that matters.
