Window tint

I've got an 03 and I was wondering what a fair price for window tint was?

Window tint

Side and rear windows. I don't want a strip across the windshield.

Wow that seems high to me! I've had a couple guys tell me $160 and that seems like it would be high, too.

I'll end up paying it, I'm sure.

Jesus! Almost $400 for tint is insane! That tint better last the next 50 years lmao. I paid $120 for my 2000 vert when I had her. That was all around plus the windshield strip

$120 sounds much more fair to me. Since this post I've put money down on a set of used rear window louvers, so that'll save me getting that window tinted. I might just try it myself now!

Tint on avg is 120-220 depending on how dark you go. I run all my cars at 2.5% doubled so mine cost me 220 in Michigan. Two layers of tint and I use the darkest stuff on the market. Not to mention the darker you go the more imperfections will stand out. I've always gone over my windows with a fine tooth comb before driving away. My rear window on my 13 stang was redone 4 times before I left with it.

2.5%?!?!?! Good grief, how do you see out?

A friend of mine right after high school had a Celica with dark tint and had all kinds of trouble with the highway patrol and local cops. I think the MO limit is 35% which is probably all the darker I would go anyway.

Holy Lord! That's expensive.

I paid $140. And that includes a lifetime warranty against fading, cracking, and peeling.

2.5 double layered ). I don't like any one to be able to see in my car. Only bad part is backing up at night. Other than that you just get use to it I guess idk. I've never had any issues with having dark windows.

The shop around my town charges like 25 dollars a window.. The back glass was a little more expensive and the front strip was free

The quality shops around here seem to range from 220-260 and that includes life time warranty. There are cheaper options in the 100-150 range but I've always paid more just to know it's done right and know it's quality tint

A lot of it really comes down to overhead. You can have the same quality, if not better from a small shop with less employees than from a large shop with more employees. I paid $140 for front rear and back windows with a lifetime warranty. Been over a year and haven't had any issues.

Exactly, I had a mobile tint come out and he did it for $120.00. The tint is still looking good and I don't believe it would have any problems until much further down the road.
