Depends on where you go and if they do quality work. Cost me $500 to get mine installed. But it was installed right the first time.

Mine were 500 also. Quality 3M 1080 vinyl with a metallic flake. Not the best pic but it's the only one I have right now.
I'm a big advocate of do it yourself for all things cars but no way in heck for stripes. Would you tint your own windows and expect they look as good as professional?

There is a company called bigworm graphix that make any color and style. And theyre all pre cut so you dont have to use a blade and maybe accidentally scratch the paint. I bought my kit there and i was charged 75 to have it installed.

LOL! Yeah, then get in a take it for a test drive when you're done...

I'd advise not drinking when installing something that takes such precision.

Tint and vinyl are easy to do. Difficult at first but with some practice there all easy. Hardest part is certain curves. Bubble windows are a biotch but other than that there all easy after u do a few.

Lol...not true. Those that are accustomed to drinking you become very precise. No b.s i took longer than i should have to install, knowing i had been drinking i took more time than needed. They came out perfectly fine the only struggle happen when i had to exacto around curves like the GT trunk emblem everything else was easy.

Shamelessly i confess i drink everyday, so it takes more than a few Budweisers to get me leaning... if you're a lightweight i don't advise partaking in any alcoholic beverage

The biggest thing with doing it yourself is patience like 8thelement said. The other thing is you're going to repeat steps over and over again to get it right, so if you one of those people that's likely to tear someones head off for clicking a pen to much or telling the same joke everyday, its probably not a good project to try.
