Plasti dip engine cover 5.0 ?

Hi guys
I have a 14 5.0 and I am really interesting in painting my engine cover where the 5.0 emblem is.
I know I need a high heat spray paint for it but can I use plait dip for it? Will it endure the high heat of the engine?

Thanks!!

I would recommend artwork under the hood such as airbrushing but that would be more of a permanent result. Something that really pops and stands out. I just had this done to my engine bay a few weeks ago.

Have a great day!

Give it a shot. Plasti dip is cool stuff. Best part, comes easy off if you don't like or want to change the look.

Have a great day!

Has anyone done anything with the hood cover in the engine bay.

I'm a fan of the gold actually. I picked up some painted gold coil covers and am currently rocking them on my white car. But you have to be careful with the gold. It can be overkill pretty easily.

Looks great. Did you just tape it off and use the spray can? I'm new to this plastidip thing.
