Louvers or no Louvers

What's your guys opinions on window Louvers for 99-04 mustangs? I had bought a pair for mine from American muscle in February; but now just recently took them off because some of the 3m tape was showing, and also the tape was starting to come off. But since I just recently took them off, I kinda like them off. As I felt like the Louvers were kinda ricey! I just don't know if I should put them back on or keep them off! ALL OPINIONS WANTED!! Not a fan of the style you had on there, looks better without them.

Not really a fan of louvers in general on any year. Only louvers that get an exception in my book are the ones that replace the glass and still have visability.

Louvers or no Louvers

New edges aren't really louver cars in my opinion. Well maybe the rear window that's it. Like the 05-09 cars look great with louvers, but not so much on the new edge.

Pick your poison.

Your car has enough stuff going on with it and I think lovers are a little too much for it.

Thank you everyone for your opinions! I have decided to keep them off! As it just felt like too much was going on like RBK said!

It is hard to see the louvers in the pict but the louvers I have seen on the new edge are just too large. My guess is they have to be that large to cover the window so it is them or nothing. I vote for nothing.

I like the louvers on the s197 but not much else except 60's stangs. Not a fan of the Eleanors on even the s197. New Edge is great in the sense that the flow of the windows and such doesnt even need it. they integrate well where as the s197 has too big a gap between the two IMO so it really helps on them.

Never liked louvers at all, they're kinda tacky on anything but the 60s to early 70s 'stangs. Leave 'em off.

They look like crap on 04-down cars. Definitely leave them off. Only thing to consider doing for 99-04 cars is to swap to Bullitt/Mach sail panels. You can also use 94-98 sail panels.

Yep they bolt right on and they look pretty good. They are a little different but they are EVERYWHERE and easy to get ahold of vs the Mach/Bullitt stuff.

Problem with changing them out on a GT/Cobra is there are often marks in the paint that don't get covered up by the new panels. This is why I'm going to do them when I re-spray this car. I'm going to replace like... pretty much every body panel that unbolts when I paint this thing lol.

Sell them but they are not very popular... because they look like crap. I have no idea why MMD or whoever even makes them. Then again... there is a LOT of gaudy **** made for Mustangs. I just saw a New Edge GT last week that looked like a damn space ship, one of those "Vader" or whatever kits was on it. Puke...
