HELP! Crap flew out of pickup and hit the stang

This morning crap flew out of the bed of an overloaded pickup hitting several cars including mine! I have several scratches now and I'm looking for advice on the best way to remove them. My first thought was its time to get a PC7424. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As long as it didn't go through the clear you can get any good scratch remover to take care of that.

That sucks tho, I hope someone got the plate and reported them although without a dash cam it would be hard to get anywhere. More and more ppl are installing dash cams these days tho.

Anyway, like I said as long as its just a surface scratch in the clear you are good. I'd give Meguiar's ScratchX 2.0 a shot, I've had good luck with it in the past.

Thanks, I'll give that a try. I've contemplated getting a cam. Here in Philly it seems like 30% of the cars don't have current tags so I'm betting they are also not insured.

I live about 45 minutes east of you by the base and yeah, I'm about to start installing cams in all my cars. You can set them up with a 32gb micro SD card which will hold about a week's worth of footage before it starts overwriting. Just replace the card every few years as solid state media does degrade but they're like $20 each if that.

Also, with any scratch remover, just make sure you follow the directions and don't overdo it. You are basically melting the clear around the scratches into the scratches so you only want to go until they disappear and not any more than that. Then wait the recommended time and polish it up and it should be as good as new.

If the MSX2 does't do the trick you have anybody you can recommend to fix this?

Take it to a shop and have them blend it. That scratch remover should work just fine as long as it has not gone all the way through the clear like I said.
