Did you do your own stripes or have a pro do it for you?

I was quoted between 600 -$800 to install.
The kit was like $225. So I figured even if I ruined it I would still be ahead.

Oh wow! That's crazy money to have them installed! Would not think it would that costly to have them put on!

They said they had to Claybar the car and get it ready for the decals.
With the kit was ready cut 28 piece 3M high-quality decals.

It will look great! I had the same idea, do it myself and even if I messed it up I could get a new kit. Turned out the kit I ordered from AM had extra so when I missed a small wrinkle on the front edge of the hood, tried to lift it and tore it, I wasn't too concerned. Had put boss stripes on already so I Decided to wait another day. Unfortunately, my kids needed a backstop for their arrows and used the box my kit was in!!! Not a single usable piece was left! Funny now, not so funny then!

S197 black with red stripes

hi. mine has white stripes & black w/ red accented interior.
I saw one with red stripes & it didn't appeal to me AT ALL.
But, it's your taste.

I'm on the edge with red strippes and white, but I do like the red accented interior! I'm doing that for sure

To clarify, I actually mean the rocker panels have the white stripes (which I didn't like in red);
& the interior is black, but there is red stitching & seat pieces.Click image for larger version

I think a darker red would be better than race red. Where did you get the Colorado red?

Those are the factory stripes.
Colorado red & Torch red have the same paint code, ( D-3 )
