best color for brake calipers?

Looking for the best color to paint my brake calipers, the car is kinda over the top with brilliant ruby red paint and a very nice offsetting orange/yellow/red Florida license plate.

Thinking maybe bright yellow and/or of course some kind of red, any suggestions would be appreciated, pics are under my avatar.

Thanks
Terry

Black or yellow. If you are planning on stripes that would have an affect on opinion. Also keeping wheels machined or chrome? If so then red or yellow be cool.

No stripes and keeping wheels as they are which have the optional black / (gray) matte finish to them.

Yellow is my safe choice.....however, if ya want to be different consider Blue either metallic or Ford. Remember it's only the calipers, if you don't like it you can re-do them in an afternoon. Give whatever choice a couple of weeks to see if YOU like it. Metallic blue would be real cool but I'd have to think on it as it is outside the box.

good example in that shot how that color can really pop in the sun.

Go with Black or the same color Red as your Car. Don't do Yellow, it's not the same as what you and others are Visualizing. I did a Yellow once, when I had a Durango.

Yeah my first thought was a matching red and then thought of yellow, probably will go with red.

Yeah, I think yellow would stand out a bit funky with the red paint. It might give it a more euro feeling. I agree that red would match best.

I found the following picture of Ronnie948's red Stang with red calipers. I like it.

best color for brake calipers?

I'm trying to buy them. And you can get them from Roush. If I had the 575hp stage 3 I'd look at the 6 piston calipers. Yes, they will fit your car with stock Roush wheels. If they aren't stock depends on the offset.
If you have a Phase Aluminator then I'd definitely look at the 6 piston calipers.

Every day is a joyride.

I did Ford blue on my white car. I love it, but growing up my school colors were blue/white so I've always loved that combo.

Red car with yellow makes me think of KC Chiefs. I'm a fan so yes, I'd do yellow on a red car for that reason.

Every time I see a car with a red/yellow theme it reminds me of McDonald's. Don't make a McDonald's car.

How much of a pain is it to paint them? I might paint mine green, since my car could use a splash of color and I plan to get green stripes sometime.

See what a paint shop would powder coat them for.

I think red would also fit the best. The blue would be a bold choice, I don't personally see working too well. Yellow could look good too, I think.

Just for price reference. I'm getting six piston Brembos powdercoated for $150. Blue with silver Brembo lettering.
