Finish ruined on steering wheel

So I decided to give my car a quick wipe down tonight under low light conditions and thought it was weird that I was getting so much black residue off the wipes, probably my fault from not cleaning it all the time and I'm sure my steering wheel doesn't appreciate callused hands lol or if it was because of the cleaner I was using....Click image for larger version

Your mistake came from using Armor All products.

Did you use another product before using the Wipes? What have you been using to clean your steering wheel?

For dirty steering wheels/shifter/buttons I use a 1/10 mix of simple green. Then follow up with a light rub down using Meguiars natural vinyl protection product. I'm so worried about doing this to my interiors everytime I do.
