Window Tinting Basics

Hello

Never in my life have I had a reason to tint the windows on a car but I think the new 2015 Black Roush may look better with the windows tinted and maybe the tint would reflect some of the SC heat.

Suggestions?

Less heat
Privacy
More aggressive look
Glare reduction inside

A lot of benefits to window tint.

Go to this site, it will have the stats on tinting for South Carolina. Better to run legal than give the Po Po a reason to pull you over and find other things to ticket you.

Do it. Black cars look sinister with window tint, plus it stays cooler inside and helps prevent fading.

If your car has the rear 1/4 louvers, make sure they tint those windows as well. Dumb *** place the dealership got to tint mine left tint off those because of the louvers and it felt like a spotlight coming in through those windows in the sun. Had a local guy tint them as he had the skills to cut the tint for those from the inside. The other place cried that they didn't do them because they couldn't cut the film without removing the louvers which are not easily removable on the 12' stage 3.

How exactly do backup cameras help you to see while driving at night? Do you drive around everywhere backwards at night? Did you put backup cameras on your doors too? :p

i'm talking about the back window lol. my car was tinted at the dealer. 5% on the back window, which is almost black. if i'm going to work in the morning in the dark, i turn it around the night before, so i don't have to back up in the dark & run over the paperboy & his dog at 5am lol
(i saw a guy on tv running from the cops in his car, & he was driving backwards for like 3 miles, & everyone was surprised at how amazing he was lol...)
(& when got our new fridge m it has 3 cameras in it, & my dad says "There! now you have a backup camera! ...or was that a new Mustang you wanted? i forget..."
