How to get rid of epoxied plastidip?

The previous owner said they had plastidipped the hood and epoxied it to make it stick. I know how to get off regular plastidip but what can I use to get off epoxied? I want to go back to red instead of black.

Probably, what you are going to find when you remove the Plasti-dip is a coat of epoxy primer. If that is the case, I suppose that you could try to carefully sand it down back to the clear coat, and then buff it out.
Or, have it repainted.
