Post How to clean tach/speedo glass without scratching it?

I have had the stang for 4 years now, and not once I have cleaned the the tach/speedo glass.

Now, before everyone gets all Judgey McJudgerson , there is a reason.

Through unfortunate experience, I have discovered that for some unknown reason, tach/speedo glass is the easiest substance on earth to scratch.

How do you guys clean your tach/speedo glass without scratching it?

Spray it with water and use a micro fiber cloth?

Yes. That will work.
I also use those little "towelettes" that are used for cleaning the screens on electronic devices.
It will help to prevent scratches if you can blot up as much as the dust as possible before making any wiping movements with the towel.

I would try a swiffer first to get bulk of dust off

PLEXUS Plastic Polish is a good product. It’s what I use with a microfiber towel on my headlights and dash. Not cheap, but I’ve had the same aerosol can for years:
