i would install it first get it right then paint it and pop it on (so you dont scratch it during install)... thats if it bolts on vs sticks on.

Re: My first AM order

I've been considering buying that scoop myself, car is getting repainted in a few weeks, but I'm not sure if I like the tape... I'd rather have a bolt on

Let us know how it goes.... fit, finish, etc.

What I the difference in the bolt on and tape? 99% of bug guards are held on with 3m tape and last forever this just saves from drilling the hood incase the next owner wants to take it off

the stick on's look pretty sweet IMO. no hassle in having to drill. ive seen a hood scoop that comes new with the honeycomb grill, bolts, and its primed ready for paint on ebay for like 110 or something. it isnt OEM by Ford but they say it supposebly matches the looks of OEM completly. but idk if theyre just ripping off

Re: My first AM order

found an awesome deal on an already paint GT bumper and a rear sway bar in the same town about 5 mins apart from each other simply due to the 20 ****ing stop signs ...

But it was about a 2 hour drive from me total. 2 birds 1 stone on good deals

Re: My first AM order

Customer Service is not a lost cause at American Muscle, they really go above and beyond the call of duty.

It seems like so many times you have to sacrifice customer service, or item quality to get a good price. Certainly not the case with American Muscle.
