'13 body changes

Any info yet on the compatibility of body parts between 10-12s and 13 Mustangs? From the pics I've seen, it looks like most are interchangeable except maybe for the grille surrounds and, I'm guessing, the front bumper cover, with the new protruding grille. The lower line of the new tailights looks to be the same, so I'm guessing rear bump covers could be interchanged, but you obviously couldn't swap lower fascias due to the differing license plate body molds. Also curious if all grilles, surrounds & front bumpers can be swapped between V6/GTs & GT500s now as they all look exactly alike. And can you confirm definitely that 10-12 hoods fit 13s? Thanks in advance for any info you can offer.

Re: '13 body changes

looks like in order to use the grill from a 13 you will need the front bumper and hood, the rearend looks like the rear bumper and tail lights would need to transfer and possible wiring harness for the different lights. It all can be done with money

Re: '13 body changes

Hey guys! Sorry, but unfortunately we haven't had a chance to get our hands on a 2013. So, as of yet, we don't know anything that's going to directly transfer over. Once they do release them for the public and we can get some at our facility, you can be sure we'll be tearing into them to see what works and what doesn't. Until then, I'm not going to try to speculate, just so that there's no confusion or misinformation out there.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Let me know if you have any other questions in the future. Have a great weekend!
