americanmuscle.com SCT Tuner! It take all of the mods in your car and combines them in order to get the most performance out of them while also helping throttle response and gas mileage.

AM's tuning is done by BAMA Tuning. A tune on your car changes air/fuel ratio giving you better throttle response, a few hp and even helps you save on gas. If you have an automatic, it changes and firms up your shift points. The brand of tuners AM has is SCT. The tuner chip you listed is a little bit of work to install. And then every time you need a new tune, you have to remove it from your vehicle and send it back in to the BAMA through the mail. I recommend buying the SCT SF3 tuner that plugs into your obd II port. With that tuner you can load tunes, check trouble codes, monitor various things and when you want a new tune. You simply plug it into your computer and download the new tune BAMA sent through email. That way there is no downtime. It is 100% worth the extra money. Then there is always other options like the SCT iTSX which lets you control the tuner from your iPhone or iPad. I choose that tuner. Then there is the SCT Livewire that mounts in your car but these tuners are all much more expensive. I strongly recommend for you to get the SCT SF3, you'll be plenty happy. SCT 4 bank eliminator chip isn't worth it at all

Hey,

Jetlife has definitely provided you with some good information. For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

I hope this helps! Hit up the Bama team if you have any questions. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

-Dan
