Special thanks to AM!

When I purchased my 2013 Mustang GT, I had a vision in mind for how I wanted to customize my car. Thanks to American muscle, it became a reality. Every aftermarket part came from American muscle. Fit and finish was excellent, customer service top notch and as always, fast shipping and great prices. Next up on my list are some suspension mods, lowering springs, LCA's and UCA's.

List of parts purchased from AM -

Pre-painted 1/4 Louvers
Roush axle back exhaust
Roush chin spoiler and side splitters
CDC upper grille
American Muscle 19x8 and 19x10 Charcoal wheels (I dipped mine black)
Billet shift knob
GT500 style pre-cut vinyl stripes

Quite the list and I'll be adding to it in the future. Thanks again for being the source for Mustang parts!

First pic is the day I brought the car home.

like it, but why blue caliper colors? I feel white would go better with the stripes you put on it but that's just me!

I did that awhile ago. I'm actually just going to paint them black when I get a chance.

Davey13GT,

Your Mustang really came a long way in a very short about amount of time! It looks very clean so far with the stripes, grille, AMR wheels, etc. I agree some lowering springs will really top it off. Did you have a particular spring in mind?

Thanks for posting up pictures and giving us a shout out. I'm glad to have you as a loyal customer!

Shane

Hey Shane,

Not really sure on the springs yet. Was leaning towards the Ford K springs. Don't want to go too low and risk getting damage on my Roush splitter, but I definitely want at least 1.5-2" drop on the rear.

Davey13GT,

I agree you want to keep the height just right, otherwise you start beating up the front bumper and splitter. Have you checked out the SR Performance lowering springs? They're a quality spring for an affordable price, and drop your ride height an even 1.5" all the way around.

Hope this helps your decision. I can't wait to see things thing lowered!

Shane

I personally went with the Eibach R2 Multi-Pro Kit from AM. Started out with kit on car at lowest setting. With this kit the next day I raised the back end 3/4 of an inch and now I feel the car sits perfect. Suspension is also totally adjustable to whatever stiffness you want. With AM price match kit is very reasonable.
