AM : H&R Trak+ Hubcentric Wheel Spacers - 25mm - Pair (94-14 All)

I'm interested in purchase this for my 12 V6 Mustang w/ Pony Package wheels. I think they are 18/8.

I'm getting mixed messages from the description as well as customer service rep when i called about the product. There are posts on saying you have to file off your lugs for these spacers to fit and there are others saying they will fit fine.

Please advise. Thanks!

It depends on your wheels. Take a picture of the back or find one somewhere. There has to be enough room for the studs to slide into the wheel. I ended up grinding mine down because the wheel was flush.

F4nG,

As lowflyn mentioned, it really depends on what wheels are used. Typically the factory wheels have a flush mounting surface, which can cause an issue like you read. If there's a little room, then you may be okay. Most aftermarket wheels have a light indent which clears the studs.

Hope this helps!

Thanks guys. It is safe to assume that only way to tell is just to buy it and fit it?

Here are my wheels.

Unfortunately, that may be the case. Unless another member can testify for those particular wheels fitting. Regardless, the worse case would be you have to shave the studs down a 1/8".
