Please Sticky: 2013 American Muscle Show and Mustang Evolution Meet Info

So as most of us know, the 2013 American Muscle Show is quickly approaching again this year. For those who are not aware the show is August 11th with a rain date of August 18th. Registration and all the info for the show can be found here:

5th Annual AmericanMuscle Mustang Show

Gates open at 9am and the show will run from 11am -5pm. Entry for spectators is FREE and the price to register and show your car is $20. All proceeds will be donated to charity, and this years charity is Alex's Lemonade Stand.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4-year-old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of supporters across the country carrying on her legacy of hope.

Last year we raised $14,408.25 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There was over 1,200 Mustangs, over 4,000 people attended, and 100% of the people there had a Great Time!

2012 AMERICAN MUSCLE MUSTANG SHOW RECAP

Your $20 registration gets you Free T-shirt the day of the show, a swag bag full of goodies, Parking on the Show side of the Campus, and much more. There will be raffles, food vendors, American Muscle Girls, Giveaways, and Trophies and Awards.
7 Different Categories:
Special Edition Models
2010+
2005-2009
1999-2004
1994-1998
1979-1993
Pre-1979
With 2 awards for each Category and of course Best of Show!

There are a lot of great sponsors this year, some of which will have booths setup at the show. American Muscle will run awesome discounts the day of the show, taking orders and even bringing you your parts that day! Some of the Sponsors and Vendors that will be on hand are:

And much, much more!!!

Last year a bunch of us Mustang Evolution members met up prior to the show to then be escorted into the show by American Muscle's own Dan Bailer. Club participation is encouraged and this allowed us all to park with each other. We met up at a shopping plaza about a mile from the show about a hour before the gates opened. It gave us time for introductions, a chance to stretch your legs, and time to check out each others Mustangs. About a half hour into our meet, Dan showed up in his, at the time, beautiful Terminator and escorted us as a group to the show. Parking together like that was awesome, we all had a blast talking and swapping stories and ideas all day. This is where we met up prior to the show and where will meet up again this year:
In Front of Burlap and Bean Coffee
204 S Newtown Street Road
Newtown Square, PA 19073
Click for Directions
We will meet here at 8am.

After the show, all of the Mustang Evolution guys stuck around for some photos, then we all went on a cruise ending up at a nice restaurant where we all had a great time at dinner together. This year will be no different. Details of the cruise and restaurant will be posted shortly.

Pic of the 7 of us after the show.

There were more Mustang Evolution guys there, but due to the multiple threads, poor communication, and lack of organization. Not all of us got a chance to meet or hang out together.
I created this thread hopefully to be a sticky on every page because some members only frequent a certain section. American Muscle deserves the publicity because they are a wonderful organization with excellent customer service and they are currently the only site sponsor. It still surprises me that some members don't even know that there is a show this year. Hopefully this thread gives a greater chance for more of us to meet up, become friends, and have a great time doing so.

-Smo

Thanks for starting this thread up man! I can't wait to see all you guys again the morning of the show, last year was really cool.

I'll see you guys bright and early on the 11th!

PS - Get me a head count of who's meeting up before the show and their T-Shirt Size. I'll bring a box of AM T-Shirts for you guys!

Thanks Smoz! Same here! It was easier as a freelancer to make the shows I wanted to! No SEMA this year either that I know of! We shall see

I should have ordered an AM shirt last year

I'll be there again this year, at least that is the plan. I'm staying at the same B&B I did last year. If rains, I won't make the rain date. So let's hope for no rain. Last year it rained all afternoon Sat. and it was beautiful on Sunday...damn I just jinxed it...LOL Hope to see you all there. What are the ideas for the after show dinner?

Awesome Alan, can't wait to see ya brother!

As far as plans after the show goes, I believe we're going to do the same as last year. A short cruise to the same restaurant we ate at before. They had a great menu and they back room we ate in had more than enough space for us. They should have no problem accommodating even twice as many people if need be. I plan on calling them soon to make reservations and explain the situation. I'll keep everyone posted.

That happened to my 3.7 the week I got it. One of the reasons I traded it.

The more the merrier. All ME people of all makes and model mustangs are more then welcome to join us at the meet spot prior to the show. And whoever would like to join us for a cruise afterwards and dinner is welcome as well. Even if you have friends that are non-ME members that are coming with you, they are welcome also. We're just looking for a drama free good time, with the opportunity to make new friends and to talk shop with like minded folks.
