Great group of mods! Gears and a Tune together is going to completely wake your car up.

Keep up the great work work with your build and feel free to hit me up if you ever have some questions or need some assistance!

Parts and labor for gears and a tune shouldn't be more than $1k, much less $5k. F/I is really the only thing that should ~$5k.

The gears arent installed yet, and you can change the ratio with the tuner. Also the gears only affect the odometer and speedo negatively when not tuned

Do you have baseline numbers from before the tune and gears, either ET or dyno? This is going to be my exact next purchase for my '01 Bullitt (need to get my post count up first so i can get the 6% discount unless somebody from AM wants to help me out, wink wink-nudge nudge) and id like to know what to expect.

Auto feels more gain with the better shift points. Manual still feels it. It pulls harder at 3k but I have stock tb/plenum I need to get bigger.

---------- Post added at 10:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:13 AM ----------

And I'm on stock 3.27 gears

Biggest thing I noticed with my bama tunes is the throttle response it is incredible, and OP get those gears in, and broke in not being able to give it the beans after switching then is terrible, I just put in 4.10s Saturday and I just want to open up the vents and I can't, i bought a complete Rearend and installed the gears out of the car and swapped rears easier then laying under the car for hours, I was able to paint it and make it look nice too!

I was told like 3-5, after 3 you can start doing pulls, after 5 you can slam through the gears, I know people that were hard on them too soon and broke teeth off the ring gear

It's painful you have to restrain every time you stop and you just want slam through the gears

I had the same problem when I swapped my clutch. I thought about handing the keys over to my friends and letting them drive it to put on the miles. Then I realized between them there is a low 12 sec Camaro, high 11 sec Trailblazer SS and a 400 awhp Impreza that there was a fat chance in hell that they would take it easy on it either. Stupid friends. Lol.

I wish I could give it to my dad to commute in but he sits in traffic, and with a 5 speed and bad knees he wouldn't want to do it
