Gt500's

Ok. So I went from stock (3 months) to roush (7months) to no exhaust (1week) to now my gt500s. And I'm pretty sure these gt500s sound quieter than my stock exhaust. Wife agrees. Is there a way I could have hooked them up wrong to where as they are quieter than normal. I really don't understand what could have happened.

They aren't quieter than stock. GT500 are a mild exhaust. Ditch the cats and I will sound great but its still not gonna be as loud as you want it if you have already had Roush and that wasn't loud enough.

It probably is quieter. They are meant to be quiet-ish on a GT500. With less horsepower and noise, it will be even quieter.

The GT500 style muffler is a lot louder than a stock set up. I went from Stock to the GT500 style muffler and it was noticeably louder and more aggressive! However, it's not even half as loud as Roush or having no exhaust.

I ended up doing Long Tubes, O/R X-Pipe and the GT500 muffler and I absolutely love it. It sounds deep and clean, not crazy loud though!

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!
