If you don't mind me asking a ghost cam is a tune that makes your car sound like it has a cam correct? Also I heard you need And off road mid pipe to make it worth it just a heads up?

So what is really happening that makes it sound that way? Does it clear up when you WOT it?

In the old pushrod/carburetor/no computer days, we would pull our choke out about half way. Sounded great at first but the black smoke pouring out the tailpipes was a giveaway. In the end we would just actually install a radical cam and solid lifters. Nothing sounded better than a high lift cam with solids and headers idling at 1,100rpm. There is a great YT vid of a GT40 idling that sounds that way.

I am no expert but I assume it messes with the cars idle and make it sounds look a cam then when not in idle it goes away for normal driving

^ This is correct. I wish we could offer the Cam Tune for our New Edge Customers. However, only 11+ Mustangs have the capability of running this tune. In order to get the Cam idle, we play with the adjustable variable valve timing!

Wish I could be more help!

Not possible on any mustang older than 2011. Variable timing is the trick.

Yeah it sucks its so easy to do and free if you have a tuner but no benefits so real cams would be awesome! I'm gonna have to wait too!
