Bama Tune

I ordered the tuner on Sunday and was sent a link to fill out a form for Bama to make the tune. After I was done, it said I should have the tune in about 48 hours...I still have not received the tune and the tuner will be here tomorrow. What do I do?

Thanks in advance!!!

Only time they will send you a email with the tunes in it, is if you update your current tune.

Yes. I would get a offroad mid pipe over guting them though. Reason 1. If you decide you want to go back with cats/ sell car, then you will have to buy new ones. Reason 2. Gutted cats sound like crap.

I am running an Xpipe from Pypes and Flowmaster 40's axle back. Still suggest leaving the cats as is?

The reason I ask...the 40's sound deep and good however would like just a little more volume in sound from them and was reading on here where some guys said it gives it a little more sound and volume.

You have highflow cats right now? Or just a clamp on xpipe behind stock ones? Yes no cats will give you more volume

Right now I have the stock cats in with the Pypes clamp on xpipe. So gutting the cats will provide a little more volume and sound...but will it create rasp or keep the deep tone? I am used to imports (rotaries) so please excuse my ignorance with real muscle lol

You will get rasp with the 40's at full throttle. I had 40's on my 03 cobra. Rasp at full throttle. Deep tone at iddle/cruising. I would still just get a offroad mid pipe if I was you. That way you can always go back if needed.

Yes there is a slight rasp. Without cats and 40's. Sounds good though. Not import raspy. What year is your car/motor?

It will sound good. With a offroad x and the 40's. And a slight rasp at full throttle. I will try and post a link to my cousins old set up. Offroad x. 40's. Hotrod cams/ paxton. Now he has a single 76mm turbo and borla stingers.

^ This is correct. When ordering the tuner from us we'll load the custom tunes to your device before it ships out! So that when your device arrives, you can just load the tune and you'll be good to go.

I hope this helps! Also, let us know if you gut your cats. We can definitely make some small adjustments for you!

I'm glad to hear you're all squared away and really enjoying your tune, that's great news. Keep up the great work with your car and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions or need some assistance in the near future!

I am thinking I am going to go ahead and gut the cats soon and will need a tune to make sure I dont throw a code for the o2 sensor. When I get back from Hawaii in November...I will probably do the gears to 4.10.
