White Glow Faces

Hi guys,

My apologies if this should be in the tech forums.

I'm setting up my Christmas cart of things to by, and I'm thinking about white gauge faces. I was looking at customer images (94-98 v6):

Is it just me or is the second one different? I really like how the second one looks -- is that a different or old style, or is it the one I would get if I ordered them? Or are they the same and am I just blind?

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies!

Those look like the first image indeed.

However, I noticed that in the second image, the icons (like battery icon) are in the middle rather than the side... so they're different?

Just overlay on original gauges. Doesn't change any icons. I like them. Just need time to turn them down.

Awesome! I like them too.

I just like the second image design a bit better... And I'm wondering where I would get that?

Americanmuscle. It's the same reverse glow gauges. Just turn down the brightness to look like the 2nd image.

I thought that too, but look at where the icons for the batteries are. On the first one they're on the side.

Shawnsta,

Good eye! I didn't even notice the difference at first glance. However, I can clear up your question for you!

If you purchase the reverse glow gauges from our site, you'll receive the first picture posted. The second picture looks like it's a modified version of the original reverse glow set. I'm thinking they used two different overlays and mix matched them for a custom look. Which turned out pretty cool too...

Hope this clarifies things for you! Let me know if you have more questions.

Shane

Thanks for clarifying, Shane!

Does anyone know if you can purchase the custom ones in picture two?

If not, I'll probably get the first picture ones.

Thanks guys, would love to know if anyone else has seen these!

From what I've seen, it looks like you'll have to purchase two different styles and make your own custom set. I don't believe anyone sells that exact setup in picture two. Sorry!

Sorry, I'm not exactly sure. sixpac probably has the best idea of checking ebay. You may have better luck there!
