What is your current build list?

I forgot this, add black 5.0 badges, and eventually staggered black or charcoal rims and tires.

What? It helps traction, will improve 1/4 mile times, and lowers the car. It also should have little affect on ride comfort.

Little affect?! Drag springs are designed to do one thing and that's not let the car squat at launch. Otherwise they would be terrible on a DD

Oh great... But like I said, only a thought right now. From what I've heard in some reviews, they said that it is still good for a DD.

If you are getting drag springs and a swarr bar. Look into getting a Torque Arm. Your launches will be amazing with it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add one to my build list, since I won't be getting any performance parts soon, at least I can set it on the list and remember what I want.

What is your current build list?

So what mods do you already have bro?

Exhaust, short shifter, and lowering springs are usually good first mods. Those are what I did way back when I first got my car.

Id be weary of the brake caliper covers. They are expensive and they aren't too impressive in person. You can't fake the look of $2000 brakes for $200

I've done one of the exhaust mods I want, getting it installed Tuesday, I have an auto, so no short throw, I was mainly gonna get the calipers because they would look good against black or charcoal staggered rims I'll get soon-ish, won't get until then, and they cut down on brake dust.

I didn't see a torque arm for the 2011-14 GT's, all I could find with a quick look on AM was UCA's and LCA's.

The main things I want to do from first to last would be a CAI with tuner, upgraded suspension with springs sway kit LCA and UCAs, headers with hi flo cats and an x pipe, an oil separator, aluminum drive shaft, super coil on plug kit, big brake upgrade kit, limited slip differential, and then after all of that a vortech supercharger.
Theres a few small things I want here and there also but thats the big stuff. We will see how much of it I actually do haha

Man you guys have some serious lists. Right now, mine's blank. I'm only four months in and I've put new axle-backs in and swapped my V6 upper/lower grille with a Boss 302 upper/lower grille and couldn't be happier with how it turned out. So, for a while, I'm all good. Those two things are honestly the only things I wanted to do!

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love my mustang as is. But the more I can get out of it the better! All of the upgrades I listed were all very long term for me. Its going to be a stepping stone process for me. Especially on a college budget!

Same with me, the drag springs, swarr bar, and tune and filter probably won't be for a while.

I'm on a college budget too! If we are talking very long term, I guess I want to do a tune/CAI. Only other thing is MAYBE one day, a Hellion turbocharger.

It'll probably change in a month or two but this is the current list:

1. Maximum Motorsports coil-overs
2. Steeda bumpsteer kit
3. Kooks long tubes
4. Kooks short O/R X
5. FTBR IRS bushing kit
6. Varrstoen ES7s 18X10 18X9
7. Kirkey race seats

It's a short list for now but it'll tale a while to get everything

Only thing I really have left for my car that I haven't changed is my transmission and upgrading from 10 spline. And I won't need to touch those two things for a little while.

I was thinkin the T56 magnum but it won't change much except help mpg on the highway.

I'm probably just going to upgrade my TR3650. I'll need it to handle 650-750rwtq

I just added the Ford Racing Adjustable Handling package to my build list, then I'd replace the lowering springs on the package with Cobra Jet Drag Springs.

Great build list guys! It's really cool to see what you guys all have planned. I'm excited to follow along with all of your Builds.

I definitely have some big plans for my 2011 GT! I'm in the process of installing Heads/Cam & a 150 Shot. From there, I'm not quite sure what path I'm going to take! I just want a 10 second pass and I'll be happy.

Right now I'm mainly concentrating on appearance and saving up for suspension mods. Tough thing is finding mods that don't void warranties...

Stop worrying about damn warranties. It voids the stock suspension warranties but the new suspension parts have their own warranties.

I don't care about warranties, it's my parents that want to keep the factory warranty

Why does it matter when you pick up a brand new warranty?

I have no idea...... Well, I checked Ford Racing's website, the suspension pack I want doesn't come with a warranty, none of the handling packs for the 13-14 mustangs come with one, yet the 11&12's have a pack that is under warranty...
