2014 American Muscle show

I've been going to this show since 2010 (back when I had my 07) and I've loved it every year and cant wait for this years show.

I did hear that you guys got a lot of complaints from last years show and was wondering if the location changed, and if it did, have you guys talked about bringing the muffler rapping contest back?

I was at the 2013 AM show and just wondering what was wrong with the location?

well for starters, they were pretty close to running out of spaces for the registered cars. next year I could only imagine it will get larger, and I assume they are planning on that, so a bigger place will be needed.

the complaints came from the people that live close to the college. from all the car revving and dyno pulls. people complained in 2012 also, that's why they didn't have the muffler rapping contest.

lol...well it's better they move the location, because if they stayed at that location and people continued to complain, they would be no dyno and cops would probably be posted everywhere making sure people are revving and being loud.

I just hope they can bring back the muffler rapping contest. I want to enter this year haha

I may be coming up there, or wherever it will be, hopefully no more than 5 hours from D.C.

I live in southern VA, so really it's about 7, we drove to Philly from DC once, about 5 hours with traffic.

We're excited about this years AM Car Show, as always! The show's location for 2014 hasn't been confirmed yet. We're looking to expand to a new larger spot, but I gotta say there's not many places that can fit 1,500 Mustangs and 4k people haha. We're still working on it though! If we find a better location for 2014, we certainly would like to bring back the muffler rapping contest and possibly have even more mobile dyno's.

I'm glad you guys are just as excited about the 2014 AmericanMuscle Car Show, as we are. I'll keep you updated if we finalize anything this year!

Shane

I really can't wait for this show. I'm going to be driving down either on that Thursday or Friday. Is there a way a tour of the place can be setup before the show or is it too busy for something like that

Awesome! Hope to see you at the show this year.

The week before the annual car show is very crazy here at AM. I don't think that would be the best time for a tour, even if we did have more time available. Since there's tons of gear/parts/etc getting ready to ship over to the show location and setup. The main headquarters doesn't usually look its norm at that time, to say the least!

If you would like to setup a tour another time, we could probably work something out. Send me a PM and we can talk about it more!

Shane

I just came across this thread and having purchased a few items from AM, it would be cool to get an opportunity to meet like minded Mustang gearheads. I will keep tabs on this thread and keep searching for others like it as spring approaches. Peace, John

I have been seeing a little bit about this annual AM show. I look forward to finding out some concrete details and figuring out whether or not I can make it up there! I live close to DC so it shouldn't be a terribly long drive.. I hope?

Should only be a couple hours for you. I come down from Massachusetts and I get to PA in 4.5 - 5 hours

Can't wait for the show this year, it will be my first. AM should get Larry from Ammo NYC to do a detail clinic. I think it would be a hit.

I would love to make it, but another 3000 mile trip this year is not in the pocketbook. I am headed to Charlotte in 60 days for the big, expensive, party. Luckily, we are combining that trip with a bit of touristing and visiting our niece and family in the D.C. area. Speaking of which, does AM have anything special on for Charlotte?

It would be nice if something more central could be a venue for an event like this. Or even do two of them. Colorado is nice in the summer, and we have a lot of major events in the Kansas/Oklahoma area.
