Special Request

Hi AM.

I have a request to make

I was looking at your website and I saw all the videos you have on the Build on Built ups and was wondering if you could do a Performance pack video for the 14 Mustang V6???

You already have 2 videos, one is Handleing and the other one is Appearance but you are just missing the porter pack

I know that a Mustang V6 won't gain that much power but still myself and the people here in this forum would love to see that video

I hope you say yes

We'll definitely look into this for you! We only did handling and appearance on our 2011 V6 because we had full intentions of strapping on a Supercharger right away. Which we did! The car was actually the first 2011+ V6 into the 11's.

However, we still dug a little deeper into this car in the later stages. Check it out!

I'll get with our team and see if there's something we can put together for a power pack!

Hope this helps.

-Dan

I'm sure it won't be long before we do a performance package for the 2014 v6! As one of our employees recently picked one up.

The 2011 v6 Project Car had a supercharger installed on it fairly quickly after starting the project. So I doubt we'll do a bolt-on performance package for that particular car. Which shouldn't matter too much, as long as we do a performance package for the 14 v6!

I'd a say a custom tune for any year or model Mustang is the best first mod. You'll see significant power gains and throttle response right off the bat, plus set yourself up to benefit more from future power mods. This especially includes intakes or gear changes too. You'll be able to update your custom tunes to accommodate the gear ratio change for your speedometer and/or automatic shift points. Or benefit from a tune required CAI.

I'm assuming your Mustang is bone stock at the moment? Have you ever tried out a Bama custom tune in the past?

I only have roush axle back and no i havent had any tuned car in the past.

I am not looking to mod my car to much, just the essential items such a tune, gears and intake but to be honest I am afraid of tunning my car and then lose the warranty . i have 100k warranty so if even harder if I lose that

Ranger052,

I understand your concern. It's nice to know you can always fall back on the warranty whenever, if it is needed.

One thing to keep in mind though. Just because you're Mustang is modified, it doesn't mean your warranty is automatically voided. For example, if your alternator fails and needs to be replaced- your Dealership will have it replaced with no questions asked of your other mods, since it has nothing to do with the alternator.

If you were to have actual engine issues, again the dealership would have to prove to modifications are at fault. Otherwise, they're required to fix the car under warranty.
