When I did a gauge swap out on a mustang i owned awhile ago i used a pry tool that fit between the gauge and the needle to pop the needles off.

Caution though make sure you tape up any tool you use so you dont mar up the gauges.

Also make sure before you pull them off you mark where all the needles point with engine off and with engine at idle and warmed up after ten mins. Also try to have your tank full to make it easier for the fuel gauge and make it as accurate as possible.

Those where things i learned when I did it awhile ago. Hope that helps.

Looks good

Nice job looks good. I always loved the white gauges over the black.

Well second best thing now is multi fold..

Find a mustang like your with same basic build and ask for photos of what needles point to at idle..

For speedo.. Have a buddy get on freeway next to you and have them set cruise control at 65 or whatever. Pace them and see what yours says. Gives you estimate on how far off the speedo is and then you can choose to fix it or not.

Nice job and looks good sure you will enjoy them for long time to come

Hey kyle_rivas,

Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you in time! Both Dan and I were a little held up with the Mustang Mayhem Dyno Event last week.

Anyways, it's good to see you got things worked out with the assistance of Batdive. Feel free to hit me up if you have any other questions!

Shane
